What is XERF?
XERF is a noninvasive, dual-frequency monopolar radiofrequency treatment used in aesthetic skin-tightening consultations. It delivers controlled heat while cooling the skin surface. A participating location offers appointments in Garden City, Michigan; inquiries begin with Detroit Beauty Connect.
It is a different decision from laser hair removal. Laser hair removal targets hair follicles; XERF is discussed for skin laxity and texture. Neither treatment should be sold as a substitute for a medical evaluation or a guaranteed result.

Two small 2026 human studies reported encouraging short-term observations: a prospective study of 39 people after two XERF sessions, and a retrospective report of 16 women after one session. Neither had a randomized comparison group, follow-up was short, and the 16-person report included an investigator who trains for the manufacturer. They inform a consultation; they cannot predict an individual result or prove superiority over another treatment.
Dermatology guidance describes noninvasive radiofrequency tightening as typically gradual and modest, with possible temporary redness or swelling. Comfort, recovery, and outcome depend on the person and treatment plan. Ask the treating professional for a realistic range for your own skin.
